RMC Consultants, Inc was created in 1990 with a work experience of over 35 years managing complex wounds and ostomies. We have incorporated all medical specialties in treating the many aspects of complex wounds. Our educational programs facilitate an integrated multi-disciplinary approach to managing the whole patient. An interdisciplinary team approach has been documented to reduce rate and possibility of developing multi-faceted chronic wounds. All non-healing wounds, such as sacral decubiti and other pressure wounds to include ishemic, venous or chemical wounds remain a constant concern to formulate the appropiate care for healing.

Ostomy appliances are worn 24 hours a day. You are able to shower with your appliance because most ostomy appliances are waterproof. Ostomy appliances are changed twice a week and can be removed on that specific day for showering.
